Taekwondo Advantage Welcomes
Grandmaster Sell 11/09/2007
Recently, Sikeston and Cape Girardeau Taekwondo Advantage
schools welcomed Grandmaster Brenda Sell, 8th degree blackbelt and President of
The United States Chung Do Kwan Association for a special seminar taught by Gm
Sell on the technical aspects of form. The highlight of the night was a special
black belt graduation for those who recently took a four hour physical exam.

Taekwondo Advantage Welcomes New

Monday October 15, 2007 Master Instructor Tim
Wall unveils plans for the future of Taekwondo Advantage. Master Wall says, 'It
has already started with the assignment of key individuals in key positions".
Each staff member is responsible for their particular assignments. Mr. Zane
Riley, 2nd degree black belt is rebuilding a new and much improved web site-
with more student interaction capabilities such as password protected forms and
one-step videos, more media and other cool stuff. Mr. Riley is also in charge of
our Chung Do Extreme forms training. Ms Ashley Brown , 2nd Dan, has been promoted to Head
Instructor at the Sikeston Studio. Mr. Sergio Ramos has been appointed Head
Instructor at the Cape TKD Advantage. Alex Griffith has been appointed to
assistant instructor at the Cape Studio, and will be in charge of of rebirthing
the School News Letter. Mrs. Sherri Jackson is our new Lil' Tigers Co-teacher
for Sikeston. Mr. Jason Lynch- Chief Instructor has returned and is in charge of
all Project Action activities, along with teaching Olympic Style Sparring for
those students interested in that aspect of the sport. When ask for a comment,
Master Wall said, " I have great trust and belief our new staff will meet and
exceed my expectations and will take the Schools places that seemed out of reach
only one year ago". "Both studios will be undergoing remodeling as part of
the two year plan . "Those projects are underway and expected to be complete
before the end of the year". " This is just the top of the ice-berg, more
exciting things are also slated ". Master Wall said.
Kick-A-Thon

Students from both the Cape and Sikeston Schools
celebrated National Martial Arts Day by participating in a fund raiser for
Project Action. Martial art schools across the United States also took part in
the event. The prior record was 8 million kicks. Taekwondo Advantage students
raised over one thousand dollars with a total of over 3,000 kicks thrown in the
allotted one hour time frame. The event was coordinated by Chief Instructor
Jason Lynch Pictures Soon. " Our first fund raiser was a success". Master

Fall 2007 Black Belt Test
Results 9/22/2007
On Saturday September 22nd Taekwondo
Advantage held their fall black belt test. The physical test lasted almost four
hours. Congratulations goes out to the following students; Jennifer Abate-1st
degree, Robert Madigan-1st degree, Gabe Vaught-1st degree, Aaron Rinda-1st
degree, Tristin Zimmerman-2nd and Mr. Zane Riley- 2nd.

Black Belt Exam Results

Recently students from Taekwondo Advantage in Sikeston went
for advancement in rank in their chosen art. They took written exams including
instructors certification tests. The physical test took three and a half hours
and included knowledge on basic techniques, combinations of advanced
techniques, form, one-step sparring, free sparring, and a test of accuracy
with the feet and hands. Pictured from left: Back row, Ashley Brown- 2nd

Sikeston School Host Graduation Night

Thursday night the Sikeston Taekwondo Advantage
was filled to capacity for its monthly graduation ceremony. All the graduates
did an outstanding job in the demonstration of their martial art
techniques. Pictured below are the graduates and the instructors, also pictured
is Master wall having some fun with student Shannon Jones from Sikeston.
